It's good to be back at school. The new blurry-eyed cherubs appear to be very pleasant and polite. I spent about an hour or so in the library listening to the annual pep talks by the principal, counselor, PTO mom and the gym teachers. Then, I took a small group of students and parents on a tour of the middle school and high school.
It was a good day and I look forward to the first day of school.
Tomorrow, the second group of incoming sixth graders, arrive. We repeat today's activity.
